1. International Organization for the Prevention and Resolution of Commercial Disputes
With the gradual deepening of the "the Belt and Road" construction, in order to respond to the voice of the international community and under the promotion of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the China International Chamber of Commerce, together with relevant chambers of commerce and industry, legal service institutions and other relevant countries participating in the "the Belt and Road" construction, jointly launched the International Organization for the Prevention and Resolution of Commercial Disputes in accordance with the principles of consultation, joint construction and sharing. As an important achievement of the summit forum, the international organization was officially established on October 15, 2020. This international organization is a non-governmental, non-profit international community group that will provide diversified and "one-stop" services for the prevention and resolution of international commercial disputes, including publicity and training, dialogue and consultation, compliance construction, early warning and prevention, standard contract formulation, mediation, arbitration, etc., to domestic and foreign enterprises. It will protect the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises in accordance with the law and create an efficient, convenient, fair and just business environment.


2 Commercial Arbitration
General commercial arbitration

Commercial arbitration is the earliest commercial legal service carried out by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. In May 1954, with the approval of the State Council of the Central People's Government, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade established the first foreign-related arbitration institution in China - the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC). After years of development, CIETAC has become one of the most influential permanent commercial arbitration institutions in the world, independently and impartially resolving domestic and international economic and trade disputes as well as international investment disputes. The headquarters of CIETAC is located in Beijing, with branch offices in Canada, Austria, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Fuzhou, Xi'an, Nanjing, Chengdu, and Jinan. In addition to traditional commercial arbitration services, we also provide diversified dispute resolution services for parties such as website domain names, online arbitration, mediation, investment dispute resolution, as well as dispute resolution services for industries such as food, engineering construction, and finance.

3. Intellectual Property Protection
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has been providing intellectual property services since 1957. It is the earliest institution in China to offer foreign-related intellectual property services, providing consulting, application, mediation, administrative protection, and litigation services for Chinese and foreign enterprises in the fields of patents, trademarks, copyright domain names, trade secrets, trade dress, unfair competition, and other intellectual property related areas. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has three intellectual property agency and rights protection institutions, including the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Office, China Patent Agency (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., and CCPIT Intellectual Property Service Center. It has branches in Beijing, New York, Tokyo, Munich, Geneva, Madrid, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen.

4 "Two Anti and One Protection" Services
With the deepening of China's "the Belt and Road" construction and enterprises' "going global", enterprises are facing an increasing number of anti-dumping, countervailing, safeguard measures ("two countervailing and one safeguard") and other cases. CCPIT provides enterprises with "whole chain, full coverage" economic and trade friction response services. Before filing the case, conduct industry dialogue with foreign business associations on behalf of the enterprise to eliminate differences; During the case response period, organize industry enterprises to actively carry out lobbying and response work; Assist Chinese companies in filing judicial relief lawsuits in foreign courts and represent the industry to report the situation to foreign governments after being subject to foreign "two anti and one protection" measures. At present, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has established 102 trade friction warning institutions nationwide, and has established a relatively complete economic and trade friction warning system, which not only covers most provinces and cities, but also covers dozens of key and frequent economic and trade friction industries such as steel, heavy machinery, tea, balance vehicles, special paper, power tools, pipeline equipment, ceramics, etc. The Enterprise Rights Protection Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is responsible for the "two anti and one protection" related business.

5 Business Certification Services
The business certification services of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade mainly include issuing certificates of origin for Chinese export goods, issuing business certificates and force majeure certificates, issuing ATA Carnets for Temporary Import Goods, and handling consular authentication of foreign-related commercial documents. The Business Certification Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is responsible for coordinating and coordinating the relevant business of more than 300 business certification and visa agencies in the national trade promotion system. It issues about 4.5 million certificates of various types every year and reduces fees for enterprises by about 200 million yuan annually, significantly improving the level of trade facilitation. In 2019, the Business Certification Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade also launched an enterprise credit service platform, established extensive channels for enterprise credit investigation at home and abroad, and established a database of dishonest enterprises in the international economic and trade field, providing credit public services for Chinese and foreign enterprises and helping them prevent commercial credit risks in the international economic and trade field.

6 Commercial Mediation Services
Commercial mediation is a non confrontational dispute resolution method that mainly resolves disputes between Chinese and foreign parties in economic, trade, financial, investment, technology transfer, contracting engineering, transportation, insurance, and other commercial and maritime areas. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) established the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade/China Chamber of International Commerce Mediation Center in 1987 with the approval of the State Council. It can accept cases based on mediation agreements between the parties. If there is no mediation agreement, it can also be accepted upon the application of one party and with the consent of the other party. The mediation center has established nearly 50 branch mediation centers across the country and has also formed joint mediation centers with some international mediation organizations.

7 Compliance Construction Services
In January 2018, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade established the National Enterprise Compliance Committee (hereinafter referred to as the "Compliance Committee"), which is operated by the Commercial Legal Service Center of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. This is the earliest established professional compliance organization in China, providing the most authoritative, comprehensive, and widely representative services for enterprise compliance construction. The characteristic services of the Compliance Committee include enterprise compliance system construction, compliance training, compliance risk control plan design, online compliance consultation, credit inquiry and other information services.

8 Other related services
The "one-stop" comprehensive service for the entire process of overseas investment has been established through more than 300 multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms in 130 countries to build a global comprehensive service network. It provides full process legal services covering the early, middle, and late stages of overseas investment for enterprises, and offers "one-stop" comprehensive services for enterprises' overseas investment projects, including legal services, overseas project docking, business investigation, tax consulting, financing plans, etc.

Enterprise Credit Public Service
We have established extensive channels for conducting corporate credit investigations both domestically and internationally, as well as a database of dishonest enterprises in the international economic and trade field. We provide credit public services to both domestic and foreign enterprises, helping them prevent commercial credit risks in the international economic and trade field.
