On the afternoon of October 9, Zhang Shengkuan, President of the Anhui Investment Promotion Association, led a delegation including Zhao Decheng, Vice President and Secretary-General, Shen Yishan, Deputy Secretary-General, Jiang Feng, Investment Advisor of the Tajikistan Industrial Park, Zhang Yang, Deputy Director of the Industrial Ecology Development Center of the Tsinghua University Development Research Institute, Li Shouguo, President of Anhui Decoration & Building Materials Chamber of Commerce, and Cui Yuhai, Vice President of Anhui International Huishang Exchange Association, to pay a visit to member enterprise Anno Group for discussion and exchange. Zhang Xianbao, Chairman of Anno Group, and his team received the research group.
Anno Group is a private manufacturing enterprise in Anhui Province, specializing in the R&D, production and sales of pipes. Its products are applied in municipal engineering, building water supply and drainage and other fields. Boasting a complete supply chain system, it has a solid foundation in the domestic market. The research group gained on-site insights into the enterprise’s production capacity and market layout, and listened to its development needs. Faced with intensifying domestic industry competition, Anno Group seizes opportunities under the Belt and Road Initiative and plans to explore the Central Asian market to export its pipe products.
At the forum, all parties conducted preliminary consultations on Anno Group’s pipe project settling in the Anhui Industrial Park in Tajikistan and confirmed the follow-up implementation roadmap. The enterprise intends to settle in the park and build an overseas production base to capitalize on infrastructure dividends in Central Asia.
The Anhui Industrial Park in Tajikistan is led by the Anhui Investment Promotion Association and implemented by the Belt and Road Special Committee of the Association. It serves as a key overseas platform for Anhui to connect with the Central Asian market. The park provides Anhui enterprises investing in Tajikistan with one-stop services including premises provision, policy liaison, supply chain support, legal & tax consultation, warehousing and logistics. It builds an integrated ecosystem of "industry + park + trade + supporting facilities", helping enterprises cut overseas operating costs and go global in clusters. The park focuses on investment promotion targeting new energy, building materials processing and deep processing of agricultural products. At present, multiple manufacturing enterprises from Anhui are investigating the feasibility of park admission.
Going forward, the Anhui Investment Promotion Association and its Belt and Road Special Committee will leverage the role of the platform as a bridge, liaise with local governments in Tajikistan, and provide full-process services such as policy consultation, negotiation and paperwork handling for Anno Group and other enterprises intending to go global. It will promote the overseas deployment of high-quality production capacity from Anhui and demonstrate Anhui’s strength in jointly advancing the Belt and Road Initiative.
